There are two options. Either stick with XP and have all my apps easily migrate over. Or go Vista and maybe have some better pattern recognition.<div>The only thing about Vista is the new way it handles tablets--that's all I want really. It seems a steep price to pay to wait for apps to finally migrate over to Vista.</div><div><br></div><div>Here's what I want in my next OS.</div><div><br></div><div>1. Lots of apps. Good software environment.</div><div>2. Interface designed for touchscreen or at least have some kindah of way to mod the icons bigger. 128 by 128 bit icons please.</div><div>3. New File system designed the way Picasa is designed. Separated By Documents, compressed files etc. Advanced Metadataing. Integrated Search. Search across networked computers. Fuck folders.</div><div><br></div><div>That's all I really need in a Operating System.</div><div>The leaked Windows 7 screens aren't doing it for me. I swear to god, i might as well chuck all the business computers away and buy macs.
